As the named participant or parent/legal guardian of the named participant, by signing this document, I acknowledge the inherent risks and voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, damage, or loss that may result from my or my child's participation in the event. I hereby waive and release the Spruce Grove Skatepark Society, the City of Spruce Grove, and their staff, volunteers, directors, officials, agents, and representatives from any and all liability, past, present, and future, relating to the event.
I declare as the participant or parent/legal guardian of the named participant, that I am satisfied and confident that the participant is physically, mentally, and emotionally fit to particpate in the event. I agree to the zero tolerance policy of the event and the participant is not under the influence of alcohol or illicit drugs.
I am aware of the risks associated with participating in wheeled action sports including, but not limited to, bodily injury or death. I agree the participant will ride and compete responsibly and within their capability. The participant shall take all precautions for thier own safety including wearing appropriate safety gear.
I agree the participant shall adhere to and follow the rules and guidlines of the skatepark as outlined by the City of Spruce Grove.
I am aware and acknowledge that photos and videos of all participants will be taken during the event by amature and professional photographers and that any images or videos captured during the event may be used for promotional purposes in the future.
